BTA PROGRAM LIST BELOW:

BTA adult programs are specifically designed to cater to each players level and commitment.  Whether you are a beginner or nationally ranked player, we have the program and expertise to begin or continue your development.  Our methods have developed have led to numerous adult league, sectional, and national championships!  BTA programs are divided into specific categories to ensure certain skills and requirements are learned and mastered before moving on to the next level.  BTA Categories are as follows:

Foundational Programs:  Designed to develop a players love, techniques, and most importantly footwork.  At BTA footwork is the most important aspect of a players game.  Understanding how to move to and from a ball, set up for strokes, and court positioning are keys to a proper foundation and growth in the sport.  Our foundational programs are well known in the area for developing players the “right way” all while making the game fun and exciting! Developmental Programs:  Designed to build on the players solid foundation.  Players in this program will gain a better understanding of shot selection, spins, and different stances needed during point play.  A stronger emphasis is placed on increasing footwork speed and stamina, as well as serving techniques (depending on class) and point play.  Developmental Programs include, Live-Ball Tennis, Stroke Breakdown, as well as Women’s and Men’s Practices. For more information on each of these programs, please scroll down the list of programs.

Specialty Program:  Our Specialty Programs is designed for members and their guests.  These programs are designed for all levels (foundational skills or stronger recommended) and offer a wide range of options from exercise based to technical based.  BTA Specialty Programs include BTA Fit Tennis and Stroke Breakdown.  For more information on each of these programs, please scroll down below.

Select Programs:  Designed for the very serious player!  These players play competitively in USTA 4.0+ or 8.0+ combined level leagues and open adult tournaments.  The program will push each player mentally and physically, in an environment that promotes competition, effort, positive attitudes, and sportsmanship.  A strong emphasis is placed on serving, and the ability to set up points and finish them.  All of our select program staff has played and taught at the national and collegiate level.  We have the experience and knowledge to teach and relate to the players as they continue to grow their skills!  BTA Select Programs include, Adult USTA 4.0+ Program and higher level Team Practices.  For more information on each of these programs, please scroll down the list of programs.


Ladies GWTA Team Practices:

Women’s Team practices consist of a warm-up, fed and live-ball drills, and match play.  BTA staff will bring the experience and energy that has led many of our teams to league, section, and national championships!

Tennis 101 (Foundational Program):

Clinic is open to players from all clubs. Designed for those who want to learn or re-learn the game of tennis the “right way.”  Our teaching staff will guide you through techniques, footwork, swing paths, contact points, follow throughs, as well as basic court positioning and game understanding.  After our Tennis 101 class, you will have the proper foundation to rally and continue to build upon your new tennis game!

Advanced Adult Clinic 3.5+ NTRP co-ed (Select Program):

Advanced program for our competitive players that play USTA or Club League Tennis.  Program is consists of live-ball and fed ball drills designed to give players the repetitions of strokes and situations in order to help w their doubles (and singles) games.

BTA Intermediate (Developmental) Program:

Great class to keep developing and building upon your skills.  This program will help your understanding in terms of spins, shot selection, ball placement, court positioning, and strategy.

Live Ball Doubles (Developmental/Select Program):

This 1.5 Hour fast-paced doubles program is guaranteed to sharpen your doubles game while giving you a workout.  Each class will consist of 3 different live-ball drills designed with specific doubles situations in mind.

Stroke Breakdown (Foundational/Developmental/Specialty Program):

BTA picks a stroke each week, breaks it down, and builds it up with the correct foundation for future development.  The right stroke is essential to stay healthy, have consistency, develop pace, and for continued growth.  This class will emphasize a particular strokes, grips, turn, footwork, stance, swing path, rotation, contact point, spins, follow-through, and recovery.  Our list of strokes include, serves, topspin forehand, slice forehand, topspin backhand, slice backhand, forehand block volley and slice volley, backhand block volley and slice volley, and return of serves
